BabySalsa & BabyChata Dance Class
About this Event
Open to women only
Join us for BabySalsa & BabyChata, a joyful dance class specially designed for new mums with non-walking babies aged 2–18 months. No dance experience is needed—just bring your baby and come ready to enjoy music, movement and connection.
Together we'll explore the rhythms of salsa and bachata in a relaxed, baby-friendly environment. You'll learn simple Latin dance steps while safely dancing with your baby close to you, creating a wonderful opportunity to bond, move your body and boost your mood.
Throughout the class, we'll enjoy lively Latin music, learn Spanish words and songs, and create a fun and welcoming space!
This class is perfect for:
- New mums with babies aged 2–18 months who are not yet walking
- Anyone looking for postnatal dance classes in a friendly, supportive atmosphere
- Mums who want to introduce their babies to music, rhythm and dance
After the class, you're invited to stay for coffee and a chat at The Bridge Social café as part of the Friday Mums Project. It's a great opportunity to meet other mums over a free coffee and let your baby play in this baby-friendly space.
What to bring:
- A baby carrier or sling (if you plan to dance with your baby in one)
- Comfortable clothes and shoes you can move in
- Anything your baby might need during the session (nappies, milk, comforter, etc.)
Whether you've danced salsa for years or have never tried a single step, BabySalsa & BabyChata is all about having fun, building confidence and enjoying quality time with your baby in a fun and welcoming community.
We can't wait to dance with you! 💃🕺👶🎶☕
About the instructor Diana:
I am a dance teacher, performer and mumpreneur from Colombia based in London since 2012. I have experience working in the UK and abroad doing dance shows, teaching dancing at events and making kids disco for holiday resorts since 2017. So, let's exchange some energy and make our brains create happiness with music and movement for our little ones!
My baby girl is called Ikiru and she is my teacher, so we learn everyday together and I am fortunate she chose me as her mami! She loves dancing and learning choreographies since 18 months old! No Wonder, as she was 4 months old when we started our BabySalsa & BabyChata journey! 😍
We can't wait to meet you and dance together!

How to Contribute
At The Bridge, we’re all about working together and building meaningful partnerships with the women in our community. We believe that everyone has something valuable to offer, and that means everyone has a role in shaping our work—because The Bridge belongs to all of us. We celebrate each person’s unique strengths and contributions, creating opportunities for everyone to get involved in a way that feels right for them.
Whether you give your time, skills, or financial support, every contribution means we’re working together to make The Bridge the space we want it to be.
One way to support our work is through our pay-what-you-can model, which ensures that our activities and events are accessible to all while allowing space for contributions to go towards helping us sustain what we do. Whatever you choose to give, it all makes a difference.
Want to get involved and contribute in other ways? We’d love to hear from you!
