Walk the Humber River section of the ancient Carrying Place Trail and uncover 9,000 years of history at Baby Point! On this walk, we’ll visit the former site of Teiaiagon, a 17th-century Seneca village and explore thousands of years of Indigenous presence, the impacts of colonization, and how Euro-Canadian settlement reshaped the land. We’ll also discover how the Baby Estate and Robert Home Smith’s garden-style suburb transformed this archaeologically rich piece of land into the neighbourhood we see today.
