Baby Loss Conference: Learning from the National Maternity Service Reviews

Abigail’s Footsteps invites you to join us for our Baby Loss Conference on 12th June 2023. We will be learning from National Maternity Service Reviews and launching our new training film ‘Say My Baby’s Name; Pregnancy After Loss’ .

This is a conference for any healthcare professional who supports parents following a pregnancy loss and when a baby dies.

We have a wide range of speakers joining us, sharing a variety of perspectives and insights into key learnings, based on their own practice. In addition, we are delighted to welcome parents who will share their lived experience.

Our keynote speaker Dr Bill Kirkup, will share some of the key messages and learnings from recent National Maternity Reviews. Considering best practice and how effective teamwork can improve and enhance the care provided for families when a baby dies. Dr Kirkup will be looking at what needs to happen now and highlighting some of the key messages from the Single Delivery Plan for Maternity and Neonatal Services.
