In partnership with Jessica Pereversoff, MMT, MTA, Certified Music Therapist, we are excited to introduce our first ever baby rhythm class. Why rhythm?
Research shows that engaging with rhythm has remarkable benefits for our brains. By participating in rhythmic activities, like moving to music or experimenting with beats, we strengthen our brain's connections and improve pattern recognition – crucial skills for higher-level thinking.
Patterns are everywhere in our world, and understanding them can make things less overwhelming. Having a good sense of rhythm isn't just about enjoying music; it can also enhance performance in sports, math, and even our internal sense of timing and self-confidence.
Even crawling requires rhythm!
Did you know that between 8 and 12 months old, our brains are especially receptive to learning rhythm?
That's why our class is so exciting – we'll explore rhythm in a fun and engaging way, tapping into this prime period of brain development to help your baby master the art of rhythm! Though you’re never too young or too old to start.
What to expect?
Class will run for 30 minutes. Bring a baby carrier if you’d like. Expect to have fun with your baby. There will be laughs, music and instruments. No musicality required! We expect and embrace the imperfections. This class is about learning.
Cost: $40 for 4 classes.
