FDS is holding a canopy-piloting course at Skydive Santa Barbara on Sunday, October 10th, for those needing a B-license or wanting a framework to improve canopy skills. Start time is 9AM. Get in touch with the office at Skydive Santa Barbara if you want to take part. The course is based on USPA requirements and we will be discussing canopy piloting in general, landing patterns and each individual landing. Participants receive video of all landings (and if possible, some exits) at the end of the course. The office needs to know if you need a rental rig. Course tuition is $150 cash for the canopy course, payable to FDS. The course consists of a minimum of 5 hop-n-pops from 5k feet, so tickets or gear rental come in addition to that price. We will be holding water training after jumping as well. Water training is included in the price of the course. We need at least four participants to hold the course.
