Crafty Coins will be hosting a win a Azurite Sea Championship on Sunday February 2, 2025. We are located at 2126 Inwood Drive Fort Wayne, IN 46815. The tournament will start at 2PM and we will be using Swiss Rounds as the format best of 3 (after getting feedback from players). As everyone has noted we have started a youth division for our store. With that being said, Lorcana has some policies that we must follow. Since the championship series does not recognize age division, we as a store cannot have age divisions for the prizes they are providing us (the Scar Playmats and cards). However as a Store I can provide additional prizes, which in that I may give it out anyway I would like, which I attend on doing by recognizing age divsions. The Swiss rounds portion will have the adults and children will be competing against each other not caring how old or how young the person may be with Melee (tournament software) determining who is going to be against who. At the end of the Swiss rounds, I will separate the children from the adults and place them according the the overall placements

So for example, Assuming we have 17 or more people if a child gets 7th place, 9th place, 11th place and 12th place during the Swiss Rounds, what will happen for the youth division is the 7th place child will be placed first for the youth division, while obtaining a 7th seed for top cut. The 9th place child will get second for the youth division, but will not move on to top cut since they did not get top 8, 11th place child will get third, so on and so forth.
Assuming we have between 9-16 people, with the children getting the same places, since top cut is top four, the 7th place child will not get to move onto top cut since they placed 7th instead of 4th.

With that all being said, here are the prizes for the Swiss Rounds

Prizes for Adult Division for the Swiss Rounds

After the Swiss Rounds are done, a top cut will occur considering overall placement. If we have only eight people, there will be no top cut. If 9-16 participants, there will be a top cut of 4 will occur, while if more than 17 participants are here, a top cut of 8 will occur. Please note that if there is only a top cut of four, the overall places of 5-8th for the swiss rounds will be used. If there is no top cut, then just the overall places will be used
