AZPM x The Study

Join us for a day of networking and content creation!

Models, Cosplayers, Photographers, and Content Creators of all skill levels are welcome to join this event! Join us in this fun natural light studio to create photos, videos, and mote fun content- as well as meet dome fellow creatives!

Details About the event:

• 18+ ONLY (This is for the comfort of everyone)

• Photoshoot + Networking event. Attend with the intention to make content and chat with other local creatives, be ready to introduce yourself + make a friend!

• Cosplay, Casual, Creative, Boudoir and more! Please only make content that you are comfortable making in a group setting.

• MUST have a ticket to attend (No +1s are permitted- this includes stylists, assistants, MUAs, etc. Please have them purchase a model/cosplayer ticket if they will be in attendance with you)
• Come ready to make content (Hair + Make up ready for models & cosplayers, Camera + Lighting for photographers.)
• We recommend bringing a tri-pod to create BTS + Other content in case there is time in between working with a photographer. This event is a great place to make reels + TikToks!
• Photoshoots are group style, you are welcome to work with multiple photographers at once, or other models and cosplayers as well!
• There will be 5 sets available, as well as some open space featuring while flooring and white brick which can also be used to shoot. The studio also has options like different chairs, stools, etc. that can be moved around the space as desired.
• This space has one changing area, and one restroom located inside of the space.

Details about this space:

The Study is a natural light warehouse space featuring styled sets located in downtown Phoenix. This space Is a large (2000 sqft) open floor plan with multiple sets offered. The available sets for this space during this event are apart of their spring collection. Please see the inspo boards below to get a feel for the sets (Please note these are NOT images of the sets available, these images are inspo for the available sets, AZPM will be posting photos and videos of the actual sets on their Instagram). This location is available for independent bookings via gagster or peerspace as well – check them out! If you DM them direct on instagram to book- they offer discounted rates as apposed to booking via Peerspace or Gigster!

Spring Sets:

Set 1: This set will include a lot of books, and flowers. This set will include a “blooming book wall” The key color notes in this inspo are warm tones, pinks, and greens.

Set 2: This set will include a bed with light colored linens, concrete accents, and tropical motifs. The key color notes in this inspo are Whites, creams, greens, and greys.

Set 3: This set will include a large wooden desk, and lots of florals and books. The key color notes in this inspo are Browns, and other warm tones.

Sets by AZPM:

We will be setting up a dark blue backdrop paper, and disco ball props for this event. There is alot of natural light that pours in the windows which can be caught by the disco balls to create some cool FX (weather permitting) If the disco ball effect interests you, the session B time slot willl be ideal for this concept.

Lighting description:

Natural light comes in from the west and south windows, subject to seasons, day, time, weather and position of the sun. Generally Morning is even ambient light, afternoon to evening is more golden directional light. They have added Blackout curtains to control light in the space. Simply close blackout curtains to cut light, open them to let in light, and you're free to use our ladder to simply TWIST and Remove the blackout curtains if you want a clean warehouse look in the area you are shooting in.

Parking:

Park at your own risk, Double check your vehicle is locked. The study, and AZPM are not liable for damaged/stolen belongings. Park in designated parking only, The study and AZPM are not responsible for towed or damaged vehicles. There is a small parking lot on side that is accesible through the gated alleyway off of 8th ave (this parking is first come first serve) - otherwise there is street parking. Please be aware that there are parking restrictions between 6pm-6am. Do NOT have your vehicle parked on the street past 6pm. If this parking is filled- There is a parking garage (a 5 min walk) from the studio, located off of 10th Ave and Washington. Should you choose to park in that parking garage, the parking garage is called Emission Parking. There is also an ACE public parking garage (a 5 min walk) off of 4th ave and Jefferson.

Accessing the studio:

Entrance is ground level off of 8th ave and Jefferson, the door is located on the mouth of the leftmost girl painted on the side of the building. We refer to the "door with the lips" as that's the best way to describe our entrance. (See photo below) The studio is located on the second floor. Once past our door there is a full turning flight of stairs as this is on the second floor. AZPM will also post a video on event day showing how to enter the building.

RULES:

· No Smoking or open flames inside.

· Please be respectful of neighboring business and employees.

· If unsure about something please feel free to contact and ask.

· Historic building, with wood floors, please be extremely careful for splinters , heavy steel doors, steep stairs.

· Enter and use at your own risk.

A: We absolutely can! Any of our team would be happy to help you start some conversations and make some good connections.

Q: Where is the best place for me to park my belongings?

A: There will typically be a designated spot to park your belongings at events, we can help create one if there isn’t one established already!

Q: How does this all work? (We get this question a lot and we love helping yall get comfortable during your first event!)

A: The short answer? JUST JUMP ON IN! If you’re feeling shy, we can help make connections as well. 😊

Q: Do I have to bring my own model or photographer?

A: You are not required to bring your own model/cosplayer (If you’re a photographer) or your own photographer (If you’re a model/cosplayer) – however, you can! We have plenty of attendees who bring their own muse! (just make sure they also have a ticket for entry)

· Session A: 12:00-2:00pm

*1 hour intermission*

· Session B: 3:00pm -5:00pm

**There is a 1 hour break between time slots where you will have to leave the studio, as iot will be locked up for lunch.**
