Aziza Poggi's Classical Concert

Aziza is a versatile concert and event singer whose artistry spans opera, classical art song, Broadway, and symphonic rock. A classically trained mezzo-soprano, she has performed at prestigious venues including Carnegie Hall with the West Michigan Opera Project, toured internationally with her symphonic metal band Aria Flame, and continues to earn recognition through award-winning performances and a growing calendar of concerts and special engagements.

This November, Aziza presents her own thoughtfully curated concert celebrating her classical and musical theatre roots. The program weaves together expressive opera arias, intimate art songs, and beloved Broadway selections, offering audiences a rich emotional journey marked by dramatic depth, lyrical beauty, and moments of warmth and reflection.

The evening will feature enchanting solo performances and select duets, with guest singers drawn from the West Michigan classical community, including members of the West Michigan Opera Project and other distinguished local artists, as well as a featured student singer from Aziza’s studio. The recital will be accompanied by acclaimed pianist Todd Wilkie.

A short intermission will divide the program.

This concert promises an elegant and compelling evening of vocal artistry, showcasing both seasoned professionals and emerging talent in a celebration of collaboration, storytelling, and the enduring power of the voice.
