A Tribute to Pepe Serna

With more than 100 film and television credits over a 50-year career, veteran actor Pepe Serna is known for his roles in such films as Car Wash, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai and Downsizing. But Pepe Serna is perhaps most recognized today for his role as Angel, Al Pacino’s doomed refugee buddy who meets his demise at the end of a buzz saw in Scarface. In addition to his Hollywood success, the actor is a visual artist who has exhibited his art in international galleries and conducts motivational improvisational workshops in high schools nationwide. Today Pepe Serna serves as a link between traditional Hollywood and a new generation of filmmakers who grew up watching his films.
