SRP's Electric Technology program focuses on ways to reduce fossil fuel usage at facilities through fuel-switching to electric. We'll review what electric technologies are currently available to commercial and industrial customers as well as what rebates SRP offers to help offset the costs of upgrading to these technologies. Many of these include low-speed vehicles and commercial heating systems. The site assessment process for reviewing potential electric technologies will also be discussed.

Darren Gest, PE, CEM

Darren Gest has over 15 years of experience in the energy industry. He's worked with a variety of contractors and customers on projects spanning many different industries and facility types to reduce their carbon footprint. To accomplish this, he's worked with utilities to design and implement programs to achieve customer and utility goals. Currently he works with the SRP Electric Technologies program to perform site assessments for customers to understand their options for reducing their reliance on fossil fuels. He's a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and Professional Engineer (PE) in Arizona.
