Ayurveda (the science of life) is an ancient science of self-healing and a holistic system of medicine originating in the Himalayas of north India believed to be more than 5000 years old. Ayurveda tells us that each person is made up of a unique combination of the five elements (space air fire water and earth). Balancing the elements within brings harmony health and well-being. Through specially chosen pranayama (breathing exercises) asana (postures) and meditation practices Ayuryoga works to balance the five elements and provide restoration and rejuvenation throughout each season. Ayuryoga can enhance flexibility strength circulation and peace of mind.

Each weekly class is unique and will focus on addressing different aspects of seasonal qualities that create imbalances within us by applying Ayurvedic principles of ritucharya (seasonal routine). Ayuryoga has both preventative and therapeutic health advantages and is suitable for all levels of yoga practitioners.

Located upstairs in the historic Sena Plaza courtyard (No. 72) directly above the Heritage by Hand shop. The Sena Plaza is located just off the main Santa Fe plaza across from St. Francis Cathedral and the IAIA Museum. Walkable from hotels on the plaza. Parking ($2/hr) is also available in the lot behind Sena Plaza. If you park in the Sena Plaza parking lot the studio is upstairs to the right as you enter the courtyard.
