This is an overview of Ayurveda, the sister science to yoga. Originating in India, Ayurveda is the world's oldest and most comprehensive medical system. We will take a quiz to learn about the 3 Doshas or dispositions you hold.We will discuss the ways in which your diet, daily habits, and sleep habits can either bring you into harmony or balance, Prakruti, with self, and the ways in which these can also create imbalances, or Vikruti, with self.
We will look at seasonal eating and various Kriyas, or rituals, you can use to balance out your physical and spiritual Yoga practice.
