Ay-Up Market: Cyanotype Printing

Learn how to create your own ‘blueprints’ using one of the earliest forms of photography. With no need for a camera, you will produce beautiful blue and white prints using a selection of pressed flowers, everyday objects, and drawings, on light-sensitive paper.

Cyanotypes is an immediate, rewarding process that can really feel like magic is unfolding before your eyes! So come and immerse yourself in sthis creative workshop and take home multiple artworks that spark joy.

No experience needed. All materials provided. Suitable for all ages 12+

There is potential to get splashed with the cyanotype solution so please wear suitable clothing.

Ay-Up Market is hosted on Old Market Square and this workshop will be delivered in the workshop marquee located in front of the tourist information centre at the side of the council house.
