Axes for Asheville, a fundraising tournament benefitting Valhalla Asheville, their employees, and their community.In the wake of Hurricane Helene there are so many people, families, businesses, towns, and communities now faced with the arduous task of rebuilding.
The axe throwing community prides itself on being a community, on being a family. In that spirit, BATL Charlotte Plaza Midwood is holding a fundraising tournament on Saturday October 19th for our neighbor to the west, Valhalla Indoor Axe Throwing Asheville.
Tournament tickets will cost $60 cash at the door with fully 100% of the ticket sales going to supporting Valhalla Asheville. To help give us an idea on how many people are coming please sign up at the Eventbrite link below. Check in and practice begins at 1 pm, with matches starting at 2 pm. Rule set will be IATF Standard, with Clutches mandatory.
We also are doing waffle tickets for some prize packs from Axe Supplies, Love and Axes, Warriors Axe Throwing, and Axe Club of America. Waffle tickets will be 1 for $5, 5 for $20, cash with 100% of the waffle ticket sales going to Valhalla Asheville. If you will not be in attendance but wish to participate in the waffle, please reach out privately and we'll see what we can do.
