Axe and Knife Skills

We will be based in a beautiful beech wood with the campfire lit and the kettle ready. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be on hand. Please bring your own lunch; you are welcome to use the fire to cook.

The course will cover:

• Correct and safe use of axes, knives andd saws
• Selection of woods for different purposes
• Sharp tools law
• Making useful items to use around camp and to extend the purpose of your metal tools.
