Check out was hours ago, but Ax and the Hatchetmen aren’t leaving. The indie rock six piece, fronted by Axel Ellis, hit the road this fall for the “Late Check Out Tour” — a coast to coast run bringing their sunburnt guitars and jangly tunes to the masses. What started in high school hallways outside Chicago has grown into a band with millions of listeners, diehard fans, and nearly a decade of life on the road.

The 4411 is an alternative rock band from Austin, Texas made up of Cogan McBride (vocals), Tomas Gerlach (drums), Alan Holmquist (guitar), and Nick Speer (bass). Together, the four friends create music built around emotional songwriting, driving guitars, and the kind of live energy that turns shows into experiences people want to come back to.

Inspired by everything from classic rock records to early 2000s indie bands, The 4411 combines raw emotion with a carefree energy that carries through both their music and visual identity. What started as local shows around Austin has continued to grow into a rapidly expanding fanbase, with the band selling over 5,000 tickets in the past year through headline performances and regional touring.
