This one-day in-person professional development workshop is facilitated by The Awhi Warrior authors, Lisa Cherrington (Clinical Psychologist/ Mataora) and Sarika Rona (Educational Psychologist).
Centred around a bilingual children’s book about a Nanny who helps her moko, Teina, reconnect to te tai ao (environment) and rediscover the power of the atua to nurture and help them care for each other through tough times, the Awhi Warrior workshop is interactive, reflective and practical.
All attendees will receive a copy of the Awhi Warrior book, lunch will be provided.
