Background Information
The Australian Women in DC (AWDC) is a nonprofit executive networking forum, open to everyone. Led by a volunteer senior executive Organizing Committee, we arrange several sell-out events each year celebrating and bringing together the intersections of interesting people and industries in DC - business, investment, government, politics, diplomacy, science, arts, sports, academia, think tanks, nonprofits, national security, media and more – and making the most of being in DC, enjoying various iconic locations.
You don't have to be Australian, a woman or in DC - just one of those things will do.We celebrate and highlight female leadership and the camaraderie of the US-Australia alliance and partnership. We are formed within the 501(c)3 structure of the American Australian Association, we work in partnership with the Embassy of Australia.
