Awareness Camp is a FREE three-day camp adventure that provides youth who have limited exposure or access to Scouting experiences an opportunity to live the adventure of the outdoors.The magic and joy of this event is that the youth are unaware that their Adult Leaders are members of the Sheriffs Department, Local Police, EMS, Fire Department and Military. These young people will become friends with our local heroes.
We would appreciate your help in making Awareness Camp 2022 a success. Scout volunteers must be Troop level and 12 or older. The Camp will run June 1-3. Volunteers will be needed on site at O.J. Watson Park from 7am to 4pm each day. Even if you can only help for one day or for part of the day, you will still make an impact and be appreciated.
