GAHF Award Luncheon Honoring Gov. Jerry Brown as 2022 Distinguished German American
About this Event

The German-American Heritage Foundation invites you to join us for an award and networking luncheon at the beautiful California Museum in Sacramento, Calif. on Wednesday, Oct. 5 from 11:45 am to 2 pm.

Gov. Jerry Brown has been selected for this prestigious award due to his commitment to environmental work and his effort to advance German American friendship. VIP guests and speakers will include Minister-President Winfried Kretschmann of Baden-Württemberg and members of his state government. Baden-Württemberg is California's partner region and Brown and Kretschmann signed a sister state agreement in 2018, where the two leaders pledged to further strengthen "climate, energy and economic ties and collaborate on areas including urban infrastructure, technology and scientific research."

Jerry Brown is a proud German-American whose great-grandfather August Schuckman arrived during the California Gold Rush and embodied the values of hard work and perseverance that are so often associated with German immigrants.

This will be a networking event, and if you are interested in sponsoring, please contact Katja Sipple at [email protected]. Sponsorship packages are listed below.
