This is a lifelong certificate and it does not expire. 

The Award in Education and Training is an introductory qualification designed for individuals who wish to begin delivering their own training courses.

It is suitable for both those who are not yet in a teaching role (pre-service) and those who are currently teaching or training (in-service).

This qualification is often regarded as the minimum requirement by many training providers when recruiting new trainers.

Previously known as Preparing to Teach in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS), the Award in Education and Training has now replaced that title.
