Awana Missionary Doug Schoenheit will be joining us to share how God is using Awana around the world to build a generation of resilient disciples for Christ. He will also do a Q&A session where you can ask him questions about ministry in New England and beyond! ABOUT DOUG:
Doug and Cindy Schoenheit were commissioned into ministry with Awana in January 2010, but it wasn't until April 2011 when Doug started full-time with Awana. Together they serve MA, ME, NH, NY, RI, and VT.
Cindy's first exposure to Awana was as a child attending an Awana Club in 5th grade, where she came to know the Lord. She now spends her mornings as a Paralegal and the afternoons being a homeschool parent for their two grandchildren, Trinity and Zackary.
Doug keeps busy with caring for the existing Awana Clubs, helping new ones get started and renovating their 1800 built home. He currently leads a team of four other missionaries, supporting them in their own regions of ministry.
They have six children and seven grandchildren. Trinity and Zackary have lived with them since March 2012. God has remained faithful in all they do!
