After a short hiatus the Padma Musical Series returns on Saturday 4th April with two highly respected international talents alongside one of Indonesia's finest for an evening of renewal, depth and transformation, perfectly suited to the Easter weekend and the significance of the holiday.
🎹 Ivan Yanakov
Internationally acclaimed pianist and conductor, Ivan Yanakov has performed in over 30 countries across Asia, Europe, Australia and North America. His career has taken him to Carnegie Hall in New York, Cadogan Hall in London, Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre and Sydney Town Hall.
Renowned for his expressive intensity and refined musical insight, Yanakov brings both virtuosity and emotional depth to this special trio performance.
🎻 Ambroise Aubrun
Described by France Musique as a “marvellous violinist” with a “sensitive tone,” Aubrun has built a truly international profile as recitalist, chamber musician and recording artist.
Associate Professor of Violin at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and Artistic Director of UCLA’s Henry J. Bruman Chamber Music Festival, he is also a sought-after collaborator who has performed alongside artists ranging from Herbie Hancock to Pink Martini.
🎻 Bryant Gozali
A leading Indonesian cellist and co-Principal Cellist of the Jakarta Simfonia Orchestra, Bryant Gozali has become a familiar and beloved presence at Padma.
Through his close artistic collaboration with Aubrun and his continued engagement with our series, he returns as a vital voice in this opening chapter of the season.
On Saturday 4th April, doors and ballroom will open from 6PM and the concert will commence at 7.30PM
