Join the Urbana Poet Laureate Ashanti Files as she celebrates the debut of her new work Awaken2. This book features poetry and prose, along with writing prompts to engage the reader. The prompts promote self reflection and encourage readers to think about themselves and to challenge their preconceived notions of what self-care really looks like. This book launch will include readings by the author, and a walk-through of a few of the prompts. Bring a friend and join us!
