Join us for a parish retreat day focused on the Holy Spirit!We will begin with 8:30 AM Mass in the church followed by the retreat day in the Life Center Hall. Retreat will include talks by Dr. Carol Razza, praise and worship, small group discussion and prayer time.
Cost is $20. Continental Breakfast & Lunch included.
All HNJ Parishioners are invited to attend (ages 15 & up).
The goal of the Awaken the Spirit retreat is to bring the participants to an awareness of the gifts of the Holy Spirit present within them. This begins by focusing on the most basic part of the Christian life: establishing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit.
Sessions topics include:
1. God's Love and Salvation
2. New Life and Receiving God's Gift
3. Baptism in the Holy Spirit
4. Growth and Transformation in Christ
Each session will include a time of praise and worship, prayer, and talks by featured speaker Dr. Carol Razza, D.Min., professor of Pastoral Ministry at St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach, FL.
Please also join us Friday, November 19 for the 'Awaken the Spirit: Exalt' Prayer Night at 6:30 PM in the HNJ Church.
