Awaken the Spirit

The goal of the Awaken the Spirit retreat is to bring the participants to an awareness of the gifts of the Holy Spirit present within them. This begins by focusing on the most basic part of the Christian life: establishing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit.

The day will begin with Mass at 8:30 a.m. in the Church. A continental breakfast will be provided in the Life Center Hall. The seminar sessions will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Life Center Hall.

Sessions topics include:

1. God's Love and Salvation

2. New Life and Receiving God's Gift

3. Baptism in the Holy Spirit

4. Growth and Transformation in Christ

Each session will include a time of praise and worship, prayer, and talks by featured speaker Dr. Carol Razza, D.Min., professor of Pastoral Ministry at St. Vincent de Paul Regional Seminary in Boynton Beach, FL.

Cost: $20, All HNJ Parishioners are invited to attend (ages 15 & up).

Ticket purchase includes materials, continental breakfast, and boxed lunch.

Continental breakfast hosted by the HNJ Council of Catholic Women.

Lunch hosted by the Knights of Columbus and Live for More Men's Conference.

Attendees are encouraged to join us on Friday, November 19 at 6:30 PM for our 'Awaken the Spirit: Exalt' Prayer night which includes an opening talk by Dr. Razza, praise and worship and a time of Eucharistic Adoration in the HNJ Church.
