Join us for our Awaken As Love - Day Retreat In this workshop you will experience your boundaries and desires while relating with others. Meet yourself fully and transform your relationship with yourself and others.

Integration
Integration is about including all the aspects of yourself and your world in your awareness – it is part of a process of digesting and accepting events that happen and incorporating them into our wisdom and actions.
Embodiment
It’s one thing to think we understand something intellectually but to bring it into the manifest world through our deep feeling of it, our actions and our dance of creation is the essence of real knowing.
Love
Love heals, not the gooey attachment projections of love popularised in song, but a deep surrender of the ego demands to the heart. When we can be really honest and compassionate about our core wounds the ego programs that are busy defending them can relax. We remember to enjoy existence without needing to prove something over someone else.
Evolution
The universe is moving somewhere, over billions of years it is slowly willing itself awake, through more and more complex forms of being until it is finally able to see and understand itself – as we busy ourselves with our own small problems of survival it’s easy to forget that we are part of that incredible journey!
Awaken as Loveis open to everyone, offering a unique opportunity to deepen your self-awareness and connection with yourself and others, no matter your level of experience. You can join as a couple and choose to do the partnered exercises with your partner or you can come as a single and meet other kind souls who are on a similar path than you. Some activities are intimate however fully clothed and can include soft and caring touch if you choose so. Everything is an invitation and we celebrate you if you choose to stay out of an exercise as much as we celebrate you for leaning into a new experience.

Location: Sahara Studio (Little Egypt Studio) 11C Murieston Ln, Dalry, Edinburgh EH11 2LX (find additional information below) wear comfortable clothes that you can move in and that make you feel beautiful bring your own water bottle, we provide tea bring food to eat in the lunch break, ideally something that you enjoy to share with others as we will be eating together.

FACILITATORS
James Stevenson - Founder & Lead Instructor
James’s passion is to help call forth our human potential and our soul. His weave brings together more than 23 years of experience in techniques, practices, and information from the cutting edge of Neuroscience, Tantra, Biodanza, Shamanic & Energy Work, Integral theory, and Taoist practices to create a spirituality that is rooted in the body. His evolutionary approach is to work on all lines, levels, states, and parts of ourselves in bringing forth our fullest potential.
His work in meditation and tantra work draws on many different traditions and paths he has studied from Kashmir Shaivism, Baul mysticism, Advaita Vedanta, Vajrayana Buddhism, Integral systems, and Neo-tantra. His shamanic work includes being Vision Quest rites of passage guide, holding Sweatlodge Ceremonies as well as Sacred Cacao Rituals. He has been dancing Biodanza since 2003 and now works as a teacher and a didactic teacher (qualified to teach other teachers in Biodanza Schools). www.awakenaslove.com
Taina Ixchel - Instructor
Taína Ixchel is a powerful catalyst for transformation, a Shamanic and Tantric Power Priestess who awakens authenticity and limitless possibility in every soul she meets. An International Teacher, Holistic Coach, and Awaken As Love Facilitator (awakenaslove.com), Taína is devoted to guiding individuals on profound journeys of self-discovery, inspiring them to deepen connections with themselves and others and live lives thriving with purpose and potential.
With a Master’s degree and over 18 years of practicing Tantra, Taína is guided by her experience as an International Tantra Teacher and certified Energetic Relationship Practitioner, Holistic Health and Wellness Coach, and Theta Healing Practitioner. Her initiation into esoteric teachings by an Enlightened Master affirmed her destiny: to “teach this Love.”

Laura Walter - Instructor
Laura is a feminine embodiment & tantric intimacy coach. She empowers women who feel pain and numbness during sxx to learn sensual embodiment, emotional release tools and self-yoni massage so that they can have deeper intimacy and more pleasure in their lives.
Being called by the unique fusion of shamanism, tantra, biodanza and integral theory she joined the faculty of Awaken As Love in 2022.
Before AAL she trained with Shashi Solluna and Minke De Vos as a Tantric Facilitator and Qi-Gong Instructor specialising in Sacred Femininity. Her lineage is in the tradition of Osho, Margot Anand, Ma Anand Sarita (Neo-Tantra) and Mantak Chia (Universal Healing Tao). Combined with years of studying Somatic Experiencing she offers a colourful mix of spiritual and psychological tools for personal liberation and an 0rgasmic life.
Her mission is to empower people to increase pleasure in their lives and to grow emotional resilience, so that we all can relate from a place of authenticity, joy and love.
