This Thursday's Avon Valley group will be returning to the scallop that we started in 2025. We’ll be pushing back any remerging bramble and hawthorn, and then scything the grassed area to encourage wild flowers. Arisings will be added to the dead hedges. Tools and gloves are provided but do bring your own if preferred. Parking is available at Five Rivers Leisure Centre.
• Meeting: 10am at SWG Tool Store, Hulse Road W3W: ///vets.toys.panels
• Footwear: boots, i.e. stout work boots or wellies, not shoes or trainers
• Clothing: there’s going to be some bramble and hawthorn, so long sleeves, long trousers
• Weather: the forecast is a seasonal 12-14ºC and there’s a possibility of showers later on so do bring your waterproofs
• Food & drink: please bring any snacks, hot beverages and water - please bring lunch if staying for the afternoon
