About this Event

The purpose of Non Destructive Testing is to tell us if structures are safe. Failures in NDT can have catastrophic results, with multiple historic air crashes coming from NDT issues. Despite this, it is often perceived as an unnecessary cost and must be carried out in the most cost effective way possible. This lecture will explore a path whereby cost effective measurements may be made and how these are evolving. We will go through the fundamental technical challenges in this are and how we ensure our research makes it into industry. All while avoiding failure!
