What do One Battle After Another, Sinners, The Pitt, and The Studio have in common? Along with the vast majority of Hollywood feature films and television programs, they were edited on AVID Media Composer! This introductory, hands-on class is perfect for editors looking to expand their editing skills to include this professional platform, as well as those seeking to work on big-budget studio films or network television.

Join filmmaker and Deputy Boulder County Film Commissioner, Tom Parkin, for a day-long introductory class to AVID Media Composer and learn why for many people, this is the go-to editing platform!

Prerequisites:

It would be helpful, but not required, for participants to have "some" non-linear editing experience, but it is not required. As this is a hands-on class, you'll be expected to bring a laptop with AVID Media Composer already installed. If you don't already have a copy on your laptop, simply download AVID's free trial of AVID Media Composer BEFORE you attend the class. https://www.avid.com/media-composer
