Riding conditions can change at a moment's notice, be prepared by attending this FREE Avalanche Education class for snowmobilers. Class will be taught by Mike Duffy, a Certified instructor for the American Avalanche Association.This format will feature current avalanche accident statistics, accident reviews, gear, route finding, consequence analysis, rescue techniques, and the most dangerous avalanche and terrain problems. Learn the techniques used before and during a ride that make a huge difference in the day’s outcome. This interactive class will progress to hands-on training involving gear and advanced transceiver skills. Students should bring their avalanche gear to class. If you have been to the class before, you’ll learn something new at this one.
