Join Hearth Cville, Charlottesville’s Wild Church, welcomes all who experience spirituality in nature. Our gatherings are co-created spaces where you are welcome to share as much or as little as you like. Our main purpose is to listen with nature, so we spend most of the time in semi-solitary wandering and communing with the more-than-human world. You are welcome to come just as you are.
We will begin at 5:30 p.m. placing any items on the altar. After a brief practice and opening words, folks who brought art/reading/song will be invited to share. The majority of our time together (~30 minutes) will be spent in semi-solitary communion with nature, so dress for whatever amount of sitting, walking, crawling, lying down, etc. you may wish to engage in.
We will close with an invitation to share experiences/reflections/ observations.
You are very welcome to be as active/social or as passive/introverted as you like throughout our gatherings.
