Autumn Vespers Service at WPC

As the sun sets on Sunday, October 20, we will gather in quiet and candlelight for a beautiful vespers service at WPC. Our vespers services are in the style of Taizé - a worship tradition begun many years ago in an ecumenical French monastic community - interwoven with the textures of music, prayer, scripture, and silence. This fall, we will reflect on the theme Blessed are the Peacemakers, inviting us to contemplate the ways we can foster peace in our lives and communities.

Amidst our harried lives, vespers is a moment for each of us to enter the stillness, quiet, and grace of God’s abiding presence with us and for us. Join us from 6:30pm to 7:30pm as we contemplate the richness, beauty, and mystery of existing in community with God, with each other, and with the world.

Following the service, we will enjoy a time of fellowship with wine, cheese, and more, providing an opportunity to connect and share in the spirit of peace and community.

This event is FREE and all are welcome. Parking is free in our parking lot on Wilshire Blvd.
