Are you interested in music theory? Would you like to learn and master various music-related knowledge in a systematic way, and potentially pass the ABRSM exam? Now is the time to join our Music Theory short course.
Course Introduction:
- Taught by music experts from the industry, the teaching content is fully up-to-date, ensuring students have a firm grasp of music theory knowledge
- For Mandarin speakers, we provide a unique bilingual teaching approach, to make the learning experience more relaxed and native
- The content will cover ABRSM music theory from Grade 1 to Grade 5 - the students will start from scratch and systematically build up their music fundamentals and skills

Lecturer Introduction:
Bo Wang, born in China, gained his first Masters degree in Musicology from Beijing Normal University in 2008 and won a gold medal at the Fifth Singapore International Music and Dance Competition. He went on to study voice and opera at the Royal Northern College of Music. In 2011 he graduated with distinction in a second Masters degree in Solo Performance and was awarded the John Cameron Prize for Lieder. He was supported with a full scholarship from the ABRSM. Bo was recipient of the Gil Rodriguez Scholarship Award in 2016 and he was an Iford Festival Young Artist 2018. Operatically Bo has performed for English National Opera, Garsington Opera, Opera Holland Park, Opera Rara , Opera de Bauge, King’s College Choir Cambridge and BBC Proms. Bo is also a regular soloist on the international concert platform in repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary. His recent engagements include Royal Festival Hall, Royal Albert Hall, Manchester Bridgewater Hall and Beijing Forbidden City Concert Hall. Bo is also the artistic director of the London Chinese Philharmonic Choir which has premiered a number of Chinese choral works in the UK.
