Three Troubadours brings together an ever-changing line-up of respected and celebrated songwriters, in which every show is different! The performers share their songs, their stories, and a stage, taking turns in presenting a song.
Sometimes the others might just sit and listen ... but if it takes their fancy, they will often join in on backing vocals, guitars or whatever might come to them ‘in the moment’.
Ken Nicol
Ken Nicol is a guitarist, singer, songwriter and producer from Preston. His music covers the spectrum from blues to rock, and effortlessly takes in folk, jazz, ragtime, ballads and more along the way. He was a member of the legendary Albion Band from 1997 until September 2001 when he left to spend more time on other projects. In December 2002, he successfully joined forces with Steeleye Span, working with the band for eight years.

Jon Harvison
After brief a flirtation with the UK Folk scene in the mid-1970s, Jon spent ten years playing in various rock bands. Returning to the folk/acoustic circuit in 1986 he toured full time from 1990 until 2017. Jon now plays occasional gigs but mainly concentrates on recording and producing other artists and teaching
guitar. It’s a pleasure to have him be part of this songwriters circle.

Nick Hall
Nick Hall, one half of the acclaimed UK duo Plumhall, is known for his powerful vocals, intricate guitar work, and emotionally resonant songs. In recent times Nick has sung onstage with Al Stewart and Fairport Convention, as well as receiving a host of music awards and glowing reviews in the music press.
Whether in a theatre, arts centre, club, or festival setting, Nick Hall’s shows offer a journey through heartfelt folk, atmospheric Americana, and finely crafted songs that linger long after the final note.
