Autumn Lectures: The Story of Highdown Hill

Join us for a lecture revealing the fascinating history of Highdown Hill. From Bronze Age enclosure to Iron Age hill fort, through to Roman residence and Anglo-Saxon cemetery, this talk will take an in-depth look at one of Worthing’s most famous hills. Results from the successful Highdown Big Dig 2025 will also be presented, showing that Highdown has yet to reveal all its secrets.
