Celebrate the coming of fall! This free family-friendly event is a neighbourhood celebration of light and community. Enjoy cultural performances, lantern displays, and other seasonal activities. A diverse range of cultural performances will take place at the outdoor stage.
Come dressed up with your own battery-lit lantern creations or visit the lantern-making station ($5 for a small lantern kit - open until 7:30pm). Decorate and light up your bikes too! Prizes will be awarded to the most creative home-made lanterns and lit-up costumes and bicycles.
Stroll the "Lantern Loop” around Lambrick House, and take part in a lantern promenade in the Lambrick Park field at twilight before the finale performance at dusk.
Food trucks will be on site throughout the festival.

The Autumn Lantern Festival fosters understanding and appreciation for cultural diversity by honoring cultural traditions in music, art, dance and performance. As well, the event offers hands-on opportunities for everyone to participate, be creative and share culture.
