Join instructor Cheryl Meyer for an immersive and skill-building 3-week workshop focused on creating stunning autumn landscape paintings with watercolors. Participants will be encouraged to bring either their own landscape photo or come prepared with ideas of the scenery they would like to paint. The class will emphasize personal expression and creativity, allowing you to capture the essence and beauty of the natural world through your unique perspective.Throughout the course, you will work on larger watercolor paper, providing ample space to bring your vision to life. Instruction will be centered on developing the finer details within your chosen landscapes, capturing those tricky gold and yellow hues of fall, enabling you to enhance the depth and realism of your paintings.
While prior watercolor painting experience is recommended, it is not required to participate in this workshop.
This 3-week course will be held from 1-3 pm on Mondays, November 3-17, in the Idonea Hersee Classroom at Art Reach, 111 E. Broadway in Mount Pleasant.
Recommended age: 16 and up
