A small-group workshop in Richmond to slow down, reconnect with your body and release built-up tension through guided Breathwork and TRE®.
About this Event

The autumn equinox is a natural moment to pause and reflect as the season changes. This workshop is an opportunity to turn your attention back to yourself. For a couple of hours, there is nowhere else you need to be and nothing you need to achieve. You can slow things down, reconnect with your body and notice what you may need as you move into the new season.

We’ll use Conscious Connected Breathwork and TRE® (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) to help release stress and tension and support a deeper connection with your body.

I’m Aleksandra Stawinska, an occupational psychologist, certified breathwork facilitator and TRE® provider, currently completing a PhD in Psychology at UCL. I work with people experiencing stress and burnout using body-based practices to support nervous-system regulation.

What previous attendees have said

The most powerful TRE Session I had so far and combined with the Breathwork afterwards, it was the perfect mix for me to drop into my body and surrender to my breath and the experience. Can’t wait to join another session! Thank you so much, Aleksandra!

— Antonia

This is my second session with Aleksandra, and yet again I was blown away by the experience. I had never tried TRE before, and I found it incredibly releasing in a way I didn’t expect. Aleksandra held the session with such care and calm presence, which made it easy to fully let go and trust the process. The combination of TRE with the CCB breathwork was beautifully done, each element complementing the other perfectly. I left feeling lighter, more grounded, and genuinely shifted. A really powerful experience that I’d highly recommend.

— Sam

What to expect

We’ll begin with a short introduction to TRE® and Conscious Connected Breathwork, followed by some grounding and body awareness practices to help you settle into the session.

The first part of the workshop will focus on TRE® - a gentle sequence of exercises that helps activate the body’s natural tremor response. These involuntary tremors can help the body let go of built-up stress and tension.

We’ll then move into Conscious Connected Breathwork, a rhythmic, guided breathing practice. It can bring greater awareness to what is happening internally and offer an opportunity to explore thoughts, emotions, sensations or experiences that may sit beneath the surface.

The two practices work really well together. TRE® can help the body release some of the tension it has accumulated over time. Conscious Connected Breathwork then offers an opportunity to explore more deeply what is happening within you and become aware of parts of your experience that may not usually be so easy to access.

Throughout the workshop, you’ll be encouraged to work at your own pace and listen to what feels right for you.
