Join us on Sunday evening, September 21st from 5-7 at the Yoga Room in Hattiesburg for this super special autumn equinox ecstatic dance! We are super excited to co-create this magical experience with the Hattiesburg and surrounding communities!
This is a free-form movement meditation in which there are no moves to learn. Connect with your body in a conscious way that feels good to you, and move it out therapeutically with other kindred spirits in a safe, sober and nonjudgmental space.
The opening circle, warmup and dance will be co-facilitated by Luwanda Morris and Cass Simmons, who together have been rocking our newly revamped ecstatic dance experiences. 🔥 We will move together to a consciously curated setlist by DJ Jon Juan, featuring tunes from top producers within the conscious dance realm. Additional live percussion will be provided by Shawn Morris. The gathering will conclude with a sound track bath and closing circle.
Admission is on a sliding scale of $15-25, and is payable via cash, Venmo or Cashapp at the venue. No registration is required. Opening circle starts at 5pm. We can’t wait to move with you as we greet the beautiful autumn energy together! 🍂🪩🍁
