A beautiful afternoon of yoga, meditation, sound healing, poetry and shamanic ceremony
About this Event

A warm invitation to join us in circle as we celebrate the Autumn Equinox in the peaceful surroundings of Sussex's greenest building. Please note that spaces are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment.

? As the angle of the light shifts and the days grow gold and mellow, we invite you to slow down, step out of ordinary time, and receive plenty of opportunities for healing, gratitude, reflection, and ceremony. This is a powerful time to gather and consciously align with the seasonal energies of the Equinox when darkness and light come into balance.

? Crafted and held with the greatest of love and care by our host of experienced facilitators, this will be an immersive and yet light-hearted day of:

? Gentle yoga

? Guided meditation

? Sound healing

? Shamanic ceremony

? Poetry

? Organic herbal teas and cake

..and delicious self-connection ✨

? “The Wheel turns and the time of balance returns. Alban Elfed marks the balance of day and night before the darkness overtakes the light. It is also the time of the second harvest, usually of the fruit that has stayed on the trees and plants that have ripened under the summer sun. It is this final harvest which can take the central theme of the Alban Elfed ceremony – thanking the Earth, in her full abundance as Mother and Giver, for the great harvest, as Autumn begins.” ~ Druidry.org

? At Wellbeing at Brighton Earthship, we understand the importance of ceremony as a powerful act of self and planetary care. Ceremony brings people and communities together, provides spiritual nourishment, and deepens our connection to the earth and the wheel of the year as it turns. This helps us to stay strong in turbulent times and empowers us to move with more joy and grace through the changing seasons of our lives.

? Brighton Earthship is a beautiful space set within acres of tranquil organic gardens, and a very special setting to honour ourselves and the land as we send our love and gratitude to Mother Earth. By the end of this experience, you will have had plenty of time in a safely held space to assimilate the busy months gone by, welcome the darker days ahead, and explore and deeply reflect upon the themes of balance and transition in your own life. We are so excited to share this not-to-be-missed event with you

➡️ Spaces are limited, and advance booking is essential. All adults are welcome at this affordably priced community event. We ask for an investment of £30; concessions are available on request. Proceeds after costs will go to the Low Carbon Trust which maintains the space and carries out vital educational and outreach work to build the sustainable future we need.

➡️ Drop us a line at [email protected] to secure your space. It's also possible to pay via BACS to bypass Eventbrite fees. We look forward to seeing you there! ?

“This world owes its life to the unseen. Every hunt and every harvest, every death, and every birth is distinguished by ceremony for that which we cannot see, feeding back that which feeds us.” ?❤️

A fantastic day! A lovely mix of activities and a very well-coordinated schedule, with interesting explanations and facilitators. Thanks so much, Pachamama!

Lammas Celebration Participant 2021

Today, when we arrived at Stanmer with only the hope of a little walk and distraction, some greenery and grounding, it really felt like fate to follow the trail of signs to your wonderful Lammas celebratory event.

I saw a lightness return to my partner with your cleansing ritual that has been missing from him for too long, and I am so very grateful to you and your lovely team.

Lammas Celebration Participant 2021

I participated in the wonderful Lammas celebration/Despacho ceremony at the Earthship, Brighton. It was beautifully and sensitively given, amongst the gorgeous surroundings of the Earthship.

I highly recommend any of Ali Rabjohns’s and colleagues' events, you won’t be disappointed!
