Get ready to fall🍃🍂🍁into the first ride of its kind in Greensboro! The 2025 Autumn Endurance Echelon. This group mountain bike ride will begin on the last Sunday of October and will finish off on the last Sunday of November. Spanning 5 weeks total, this ride series will increase in milage every week until it’s finished! The ride will leave from 701 Hill Street at 10am each week. From there the route will follow the greenway up to the local mountain bike trails and back. Every week a new trail will be added to the route to further challenge your endurance! Below are the planned routes for the following weeks.
First Week 10/26/2025: Copperhead trail
Second Week 11/2/2025: Copperhead+Wild Turkey
Third Week 11/9/2025: Copperhead+Wild Turkey+Owl’s Roost
Fourth Week 11/16/2025: Copperhead+Wild Turkey+Reedy Fork+Blue Heron
Final Week 11/23/2025: Copperhead+Wild Turkey+Reedy Fork+Blue Heron+Owl’s Roost
Disclaimer: This is a group ride, not a race. With that being said, varying levels of skill and fitness make for varying speeds which is completely fine. It is likely that not all riders will ride at the exact same pace. This is the first time for this ride, so the pace is TBD. Although this ride is NOT a no drop, we will be regrouping near the trail heads to give everyone a chance to catch their breath. Whether it is a mechanical, fitness or skill discrepancy that slows you down, please understand that the group can only wait so long before they continue on. There is no waiver or entry fee for this ride, so by joining you understand that cycling and specifically mountain biking can be dangerous and take full responsibility for yourself and your bike. There will not be aid stations or store stops either, so pack accordingly from a nutritional standpoint.
