Autumn Breakfast 2022

The Open Door Autumn Breakfast honors the power of community and volunteers who keep our neighbors fed, and kicks off our Holiday Meal Baskets and Food Drive programs.

With food prices at a 40-year-high and people still recovering form the economic fallout of the pandemic, your help is needed more than ever to kickoff our Holiday Meal Basket program this year.

In 2021, The Open Door connected 8,516 people to 1.83 MILLION pounds of food (1.5 million meals).

“There were no Christmas gifts, but we did have Christmas dinner,” said Carly, a single mom of two teenagers. Last year, Carly and her family received Thanksgiving and Holiday Baskets so she could enjoy a festive meal with her children that otherwise would have been impossible. “The special touches on the holidays have meant a lot to me and my family."

Recognizing COVID precautions, this event has limited tickets available.

If the CDC Community Level in Essex County reaches yellow/medium status, this event will be canceled and ticket prices will be counted as a direct donation unless you request otherwise.
