About this Event

A lived experience journey delving into why girls and women are under-diagnosed, how do they present their traits differently, how unmet needs affect them mentally and throughout life.

We go on journey of learning about masking, puberty, gender dysphoria, intersectionality and how life as an autistic adult might look like.

Perhaps you are a professional wanting to improve your knowledge and understanding of autistic females so that you are able to support effectively and get the best outcomes for yourself and your service. Alternatively you may be curious to learn more as someone who feels they could be neurodivergent or someone close to them could be and you wish you learn more to support yourself or that person.

Gentle factual learning grounds this bespoke lived experience workshop which will also have facilitated discussions to support learning and critical thinking.
