Autistic Adults of OKC

Join us for our annual Friendsgiving social!

This social will also feature an instructor-led art project where we'll make wreaths to take home for the holidays!

We will supply the drinks, desserts, and utensils, and ask that you bring a dish that you love (home-cooked or store-bought) to add to our feast and share with the group!

This social does have limited capacity, and RSVP is required.

If you feel you're alone, you're not! We're here to greet you with open arms, as you are, because who you are is valid and deserves confirmation.

This social is facilitated by an autistic person and is peer-led for autistic/neurodivergent/disabled adults only, so we can have a space that is ours, have autonomy, and unmask. If you are a parent, we encourage you to drop off and pick up so we can keep the space for autistic/neurodivergent/disabled adults. Caregivers are encouraged to drop off and take respite for themselves during events.

Socialization is good for your mental health and promotes wellness in numerous ways. Those with neurodivergence have a high risk of suicidality, and our socials aim to prevent that by providing a safe place where people can be themselves, make real connections, and feel seen.
