Autism Through The Alphabet: Inclusive Family Workshop (Grades K-6)

Join us for a free, inclusive family workshop full of learning, support, and fun—created and led by Jai At Play, a fully and proudly neurodivergent-owned, mother-son-owned small business. Whether you’re raising a neurodivergent child or want to learn how to better support autistic children and their families in your community, this space is for you.

This event is part of our Autism Through The Alphabet Tour, bringing sensory-friendly, inclusive, and meaningful experiences to libraries and families across the country. We’re traveling to 25 cities and partnering with 25 libraries—made possible by community support through our GoFundMe campaign.

Who is this workshop for?

✔️ Autism families who want a safe, welcoming, and affirming space

✔️ Parents and caregivers looking to connect, ask questions, and build community

✔️ Families of all kinds, neurodivergent and neurotypical alike, who want to better understand, support, and celebrate neurodiversity together

This workshop is designed for children in grades K-6 and their families (siblings are welcome!).

What’s included in the workshop?

• A 90-minute, sensory-friendly Autism Family Workshop full of engaging, age-appropriate activities
• A welcoming space where neurodivergent and neurotypical kids and their families can have fun, learn, connect, and celebrate together
• A chance to ask questions, share experiences, and build community with other families
• 1 “Autism Through the Alphabet” ABC Flashcard deck for each family
• A sensory-friendly goody bag for each child (including fidget toys, playdough, bubbles, crayons, and noise-reducing earplugs)
• A digital resource pack with printable activities and affirming tips to take home

Space is limited! This event is open to 10 families (up to 3 attendees per family). Please register only if you can attend, and reserve one ticket per family.

*At checkout, you’ll be asked how many children you’re bringing so we can prepare the right number of goody bags.
