About this Event
About the event
Andrew Welsh-Huggins joins Authors! to discuss his latest book, The Delivery. Join us as we dive into the inspiration behind his uniquely off-kilter protagonist and discuss how his background in legal-affairs reporting informs his gritty, highly realistic plots. This program features a 45 minute presentation followed by a brief audience Q&A. Each ticket includes a hardcover, first edition copy of The Delivery.
About the book
The Delivery follows freelance courier Mercury Carter, a former postal inspector who specializes in difficult packages. While on a routine mission to Providence, Carter happens upon a brutal car wreck and a woman in desperate need of help. What begins as a moment of roadside assistance quickly spirals into a deadly conspiracy involving human traffickers, crooked cops and a pair of grifters. As the mystery deepens, Carter must rely on his quick wit and sure aim to keep his latest assignment from becoming his last.
