I am overjoyed that you are here! As a fourth grade teacher in a high needs school, I was always on the hunt for a picture book that embodied teaching joy to kids. I never found one that was exactly right for what my students needed. So, I decided to write one! This book means so much to me. It is more than just a book! With the purchase of this book you will be helping to fund the JOY Journey. One dollar of each book purchased will go directly to a classroom teacher to help them get materials they need to create joyful experiences in the classroom. As a teacher, I always try to make learning every subject applicable to the whole child. I have designed a website that gives more information on the JOY journey, as well as, free lesson designs and resources for ALL teachers to help make classrooms around the world more JOYful every day!

Emily Cseh Eby has been a teacher in Indianapolis for 6 years now. She lives in Indianapolis with her husband, Dylen and their dog Chauncy. She was named her school’s teacher of the year in 2023. She cares deeply about making sure all her students feel loved, and welcome in her classroom. This book, and the JOY journey, will help many more teachers around the world instill JOY in their classrooms.
