Authorisation of Restrictive Practices (ARP) Policy Provider Info Sessions

The Department of Communities is providing further information sessions for disability service providers about the Authorisation of Restrictive Practices in Funded Disability Services Policy (available on the Authorisation of Restrictive Practices website).

These 90-minute sessions will cover:

• an explanation of the scope and circumstances where the applies
• an overview of regulated restrictive practices requiring authorisation under the Policy
• explanation of key components of the Quality Assurance Panel process required to authorise regulated restrictive practices
• an overview of the principles for the use of restrictive practices central to the authorisation process
• an opportunity for questions and answers .

These free sessions are available to disability service providers.

The sessions will be facilitated via the Microsoft Teams online meeting platform.
