Author visit & poetry reading:Gail McConnell presents ”The Sun is Open”
Northern Irish Poet Gail McConnell visits us from Belfast to share her award-winning book ”The Sun is Open” with us.
Join us for a conversation between her and her Swedish translator Henrik C Enbohm, and of course a reading of her poetry!
The Sun is Open sifts through a boxed archive of public and private materials related to the life and death of the author’s father, who was murdered by the IRA outside their Belfast home in 1984.
